HAN provides the solution:
Password management and automatic background login: All passwords to e-resources are stored only once in HAN's internal database, and never have to be distributed to users. Once a user has been successfully authenticated by HAN, HAN logs in to the content provider with the appropriate account information, invisibly to the user. Thus not only the account information for the e-resource, but also the login page itself remains hidden from the users. Access is thus completely transparent for authorized users.
