A complete solution for accessing e-journals and online-databases worldwide
As paper-based information sources are replaced by electronic journals and online databases, collectively called "e-resources", libraries and information providers are faced with a new situation: they are now expected to perform centralized management, not of physical documents that are purchased and possessed, but of access to sources that are stored on the Internet and globally distributed to subscribers who pay a use fee.
The tasks involved in this job, if they are to be performed efficiently, require specialized management software.
Certified accessibility
The A to Z list as the user frontend of the HAN management solution, which enables access to e-journals and online databases, is now certified on the basis of the Barrier-free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV) (BITV).
This enables all users to access the media without hindrance.
