HAN provides comprehensive usage statistics via its integrated functions for statistical analysis. The statistics function offers a wide range of options, including the selection of time periods, the customers using the resources, and the aggregated analysis of data, even across grouped data objects. This enables a centralised and cross-customer analysis of the usage of all online resources managed in HAN. For example, it is possible to analyse whether entire texts or only individual pages of the online resources were used. This data can be utilised for future programme and service planning.

A detailed usage analysis for each title, collection or company, covering all user groups, is necessary in order to measure changes in usage behaviour and the quality of the service.
